IAN HEALY

As lover of museums and all art from times long past, it’s only logical that Ian’s fascination with the imagery made during the early renaissance to the baroque had brought him to see tattooing as a way to attach contemporary tattoo imagery to the religious, mythological, and botanical looks of the period in art history that he loves through a style which focuses on line work and greyscale.

Ian studied painting and drawing at the New York Academy of Art receiving a MFA and was awarded their prestigious fellowship based on his merit. When not tattooing Ian is most likely making a mess with oil paints and charcoal or running in circles at the park.
